We, Ravi Bala Imports & Exports are a professionally managed firm that was established in 1994 by Mr. Gnanasekar. Through the years, we have made an indelible mark in international arena as one of the leading producer and exporters of Gherkins and Cocopith products from India. This has been a result of a right combination of technology, manpower, experience & capabilities operating across people & machines, products & markets, investments & returns, all of whom has contributed in making us one of the best in the industry. We are pleased to say that in the year 2005, we exported more than 400 containers of Cocopith to countries like USA, Canada, France, Spain, Greece, Italy, South Korea, Australia, Srilanka and Japan.
At Ravi Bala Imports & Exports, we cultivate, process and export Gherkins (Pickling Cucumber) in both bulk packaging & retail jars. We have our own Gherkin plantation where seeds of approved quality are issued to qualified out growers, who have the expertise in high-tech farming. This combined with a company wide Quality Control System contribute to the high quality of our Gherkins.
However, our major export is low E.C Cocopith (below 0.5 EC) . We manufacture & export Cocopith products in 5 kg & 650 gms Block and Grow Bags. We have incorporated the latest machinery and accepted technology of the Cocopith Industry and have obtained the ISO 9001 certification as well as the RHP certification.
At Ravi Bala Imports & Exports, we have a well integrated plant equipped with all the modern machineries and energy efficient refrigeration system. Having our own vehicles to transport the fruits from the farms to the factory helps us to process them immediately. Our three production line quickens the production process and help preserve the quality. All the farmers and staff labors are well educated and trained periodically. We are well equipped with the modern laboratory and a well trace ability system is maintained for all raw materials. Only USAD/European Union recommended pesticides are used to manage the crops and substituted with Bio Pesticides.
The products are packed according to the buyers specification. At Ravi Bala Imports & Exports, we have always believed in sticking to delivery schedules. Well-equipped logistic suppliers are appointed for taking care of time schedules, delivery and documentation and export formalities are carried out by experienced staff.
